Premium 4BHK Bungalow Interior Design Project
Greater Kailash Part-2 is one of the premium residential localities in South Delhi. This locality is surrounded by lots of greenery and very well connected to the main road. We got an opportunity to décor one premium bungalow which is recently built by our client Mr. Pankaj Johri. It’s a 3 floor and spacious property with two floors with 4BHK arrangement and a spacious basement. After discussing multiple design concepts, we got to know that both Pankaj and his wife are into a Modern Design style similar to his brother. This provided us with a lot of freedom to co-create designs for both their homes. For the color scheme, we finalized with light wall colors to create a contrast for the furniture.
1. Master Bedroom
Aligning with the Modern Design style mixed with patterns, we finalized that the bedroom will have a light color scheme to maintain the contrast. All the furniture had a wooden finish. The wooden bed back panel has a striped wooden pattern which is also consistent with the wardrobe, room door, and back panel of the TV. The back panel also has a black tilted mirror on both sides. The TV unit has the same color to match the bed. The side tables have a golden color to give a modern feel to the room. The room is well illuminated with multiple ceiling lights.
The Back panel of TV has a combination of Wooden Stripes and Textured Marble. Two round plates are elevated from the panel and the background is illuminated with LEDs which gave an eyecatching effect.
2. Kids Room
The Kids room also had a great amount of natural light through the window. The Modern Design style was also carried on with this room with a touch of neo-classical design. The Pink and cream colors were chosen by Pankaj's daughter. We added a medium grey color to the mix to highlight different colors in the room. The wall behind the bed has beadings on it with two mirrors placed on both sides of bed. The study area had a natural white ash finish making it less distracting with alternating cream wood colors. The Study table was designed with a good amount of space and storage combination. The room also has a swing chair with a golden rim and chain.
The TV unit and the wall has a simple plain white texture with a TV placed at the center of beadings. On the corner, a small powder table was placed with a round mirror and hanging lights.
3. Guest Bedroom
Pankaj wanted a greyish theme for the Guest Bedroom, so the bed and chair were kept grey. The bed back panel has a textured dark grey finish with multiple profile lights to give a very modern look to the room. All the other furniture including the wardrobe, TV unit, and window side panels have a dark brown finish to add incense to the theme. The room also has a mirror and a chair on the bed sidewall. The usual side lamps on the side tables were replaced with hanging lights. The room has a simple false ceiling design with a lot of ceiling lights to make the room well lit.
The wall behind TV is kept plain without any back panel to maintain the simple color theme of the room.
